I’m Carly, the creator of Communicate Powerfully, and I help trainers, speakers, and leaders own their space, speak with impact, and be a catalyst for real change. This isn’t about learning generic public speaking tips or forcing yourself into someone else’s style. It’s about stepping into your full, authentic power and using every front-of-room opportunity to influence, connect, and lead.

My Journey
I started my career with a microphone in hand, spending 14 years as a radio presenter across New Zealand and Australia. Then, in 2012, I took the leap into launching my own business and never looked back. Two years later, I stepped into a national sales leadership role, leading a team of seven and doubled the size of the organisation within two and a half years.
Through it all, one thing became crystal clear—effective communication is a game-changer. It’s the secret sauce to leading teams, driving performance, and making an impact. That’s why, in 2023, I rebranded my business to focus on what truly matters—helping people master communication in a way that’s real, practical, and empowering.
My Experience
I’ve spent over a decade training individuals, teams, and leaders to communicate with confidence, navigate tough conversations, and build stronger workplace connections. My approach blends:
• Engaging facilitation – Learning should be fun, interactive, and energising.
• Psychology-backed techniques – Because great communication is about how we think, not just what we say.
